The vision and mission statement of the school

Vision

Preamble:
It must be noted that the other thinker’s belief is that the real life span of a school is 10 years. They argue that a culture of a school is established in 10 years. They argue that a culture of a school cannot improve more after this time frame has elapsed and that the culture of the school usually declines. We may not be an exception to this thinking unless we stand up and ensure our continual existence.

Vision

Our vision is ‘to make Kgotlelelang Primary school an institution of excellence in academic and extra – curriculum activities by means of liaison with structures which shares a common vision with us’.

The road ahead requires the support of every stakeholder of the school.
The following are possible impediments if they are not taken seriously:

 Poor parental support.

 Demotivated learners.

 Unavailability of funds and non – payment of school funds by parents.

 Vandalizing of school property.

 Non – renewal of commitment from educators to conquer the second decade of the school’ existence.

The school has made progress in terms of property, equipment and physical development. The challenge is to maintain the school well and add certain necessities like a library, sizable hall that can accommodate all learners at the school, strengthening of the security in the school and reasonable fencing.

Mission

We as educators shall strive to:

 Develop our pupils to have confidence, good communication skills by maintaining English as a medium of instruction.

 Produce to the community and the nation virtuous and disciplined sport persons.

 Educate our pupils holistically in order that they should become future independent managers, artisans and professionals (as their talents may allow) by means of career guidance.

In the community we shall:

 Play our roles as educators on projects, activities or events which are intended to enhance the image of our school.

 Co-operate with the community through the governing of our school in order to serve their needs.

 Avail our skills and advice when called upon by the community

We shall achieve the above by:

 Displaying at all times mutual respect, cooperation and observing our teacher’s code of conduct.

 Continuously asking God’s guidance and leadership through prayer.
